Sara Ali Khan Pataudi, an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films, was born on August 12, 1995; her name is pronounced [saa li xaan]. She is the daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan and was raised in the Pataudi family. Khan started her acting career in 2018 with the romance drama Kedarnath and the action comedy Simmba after earning a degree in history and political science from Columbia University. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the first of her two commercially successful movies. Khan was included in the 2019 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list. She appeared in the drama Atrangi Re (2021), which garnered mixed reviews, and enjoyed financial success with the romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).
